Kathy's Story

This was not the life she wanted. In a hospital room, facing the possibility of having her leg amputated from self- inflicted drugs wounds, Cathy knew she needed help. And because of YOU, Cathy found help at the Mission. She moved into the Village of Hope, and slowly, a new vision for her life began to take shape. Cathy earned her GED while at the Mission, and now she has plans for the future: “I would like to own something, whether it’s a mobile home or a small house . . . being able to have my family come [here] . . .” Cathy says with a smile.
Because of your generous giving, Cathy has a new outlook on life and is rebuilding her relationships with her loved ones. She thanks God . . . and YOU!
